As an eight- year boy I was plagued with fears about what happens to a person when you die. Then one night, a Wednesday night, I heard a song at our church about a car wreck in which some of the family went to heaven and some of them didn't. It struck my heart and I went to my mother in tears. She took me to visit with our pastor, Bro. . .

Carter Whitney, a native Texan, has been in the business world his entire adult life. He owned his first sporting goods store at the age of 18. Before being called to serve as the Business Administrator at CHFBC, Carter was in the ranching, golf, and cutting horse business. Carter had served as General Manager of several businesses in and around San Antonio during the last few years before joining the staff at CHFBC. . .

I went to Sunday school and church as a young child. At 11 years old I "clearly heard" a sermon designed for me that convicted me that I was lost and needed a Savior. I was baptized and continued to attend church with my Mother until I got married. My husband had also been raised in a Baptist Church, made a profession of faith and was baptized at an early age. Although we attended church through the years, our level of commitment to Christ. . .
